Enthusiasm
An entrepreneur can never ever lose enthusiasm. When he signs up for being an entrepreneur there is only one guarantee. It is going to be an exciting ride. So if you don't like being on a roller coaster I would suggest don't get on the entrepreneur bandwagon.
So am I pessimistic? Not at all. Just being realistic. Being your own boss is certainly not for every one. I would say very very few people can run a business.
So what does it take to be a successful entrepreneur? My 20 + years of running a business has assured me of only one thing. There is never a boring day. You will never die of boredom. There is something new to learn every single day. That is the key
Learning. You have to be a student for life. Business is about new permutations and combination very frequently. Your mind has to be continuously open to new possibilities. So here 2+ 2 need not necessarily be 4. Your aim is to think how to make it 5. Intriguing right?
